RADIESSE® is injected into the skin through a simple, safe, convenient procedure. With the use of a local anesthetic and a tiny needle – the formula is injected under the skin where it will immediately fill and correct areas of lost volume. Over time, the RADIESSE® microspheres work with your body, below the skin’s surface, to form a “scaffold” which supports and stimulates the growth of your own collagen. The microspheres gradually break down – but the new collagen structure remains for a longer period of time.
