Breast Augmentation with Lift Incision Optionss
When breast augmentation is combined with a breast lift, the following incision options are available:
- Periareolar – Also referred to as a concentric or donut incision, this option leaves little to no scarring and can be used for women when only mild sagging exists.
- Circumvertical or lollipop – This option adds a vertical incision to the periareolar technique that extends down to the crease at the bottom of the breast.
- Inverted-T or anchor – This option adds an inframammary incision to the lollipop technique.
