Consultation
Dr. Davison and Dr. Pinell believe that time spent with you during your consultation is critical. The consultation is spent discussing and evaluating your concerns, as well as developing a customized surgical plan that is right for you. Our surgeons invest the time to sit down and speak with you face-to-face to produce the results you desire.
Step 1
After you are sedated and anesthetized, your surgeon makes an incision to remove excess fat, trim away sagging skin, and sculpt the mons pubis by tightening and lifting underlying muscle and tissue.
Step 2
The incisions are then closed using sutures, revealing a smoother, more feminine pubic contour.
Addressing Your Concerns
Recovery
Every recovery will vary, but patients generally experience mild swelling, bruising, and discomfort. You are encouraged to begin taking gentle walks the day after your surgery. Many patients return to work after one week. Swelling and bruising should significantly reduce in two or three weeks. Exercising and submerging in water should wait at least three weeks or until you are cleared by your surgeon.
Scars
Incisions are made within the pubic area and can be concealed with underwear or a swimsuit. Most scars will fade with time.
Cost
The price of your procedure will vary depending on the specifics of your surgery. Contributing factors to the cost can include anesthesia, surgical fees, facility costs, medications and bandaging, and other fees.
Pain
Your pain should be minimal and can be controlled with prescription medications.
